Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for food preparation, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to producing ice cream products of the highest caliber.

• Coordinate and schedule daily the production of the best hand-packed ice cream in Baltimore City
• Manage raw materials inventory
• Track and plan finished goods inventory
• Support, train, and back up the production team
• Coach from the field, not the locker room. Be visible and actively coaching from the production floor
• Roll up your sleeves when short staff to make great tasting, quality ice cream
• Lead the weekly production meetings
• Manage all projects and handle production issues
• Lead the quality control meetings
• Sit on the Flavor Committee -- dreaming up more delicious flavors

Skills

• Proven experience in Food production and team management
• Familiarity with food safety
• Proficient in Google Suite (Sheets, Drive, and Docs)
