“Grilled!” is looking for a vegan chef to join our team! Our mission is to introduce plant-based food to the community that is fast, familiar, affordable, and fun. 

We’ve been open for three years now and have had great success serving up burgers, hot dogs, chik'n tenders, sandwiches, milkshakes, and more. It’s time to expand the menu though, and offer a wider array of plant-based items — particularly items that are less processed or fried. 

As “culinary lead”, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the menu, including recipes, prep, cooking, quality-control, food safety, etc. 

Candidates should be familiar with the wide array of vegan products available, and utilize them in dishes that adhere to our mantra of “fast, familiar, affordable, fun”.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare vegan food items for customers as requested, fast paced environment
• Inspect food products and supplies as needed
• Ensure work environment and stations are clean and sanitized
• Check food before it is served to customers
• Control and minimize waste

• 1-3 years food service or restaurant experience required
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
• Comfortable standing, stopping, squatting, twisting, and moving frequently
• Familiarity with general kitchen equipment and appliances
• Strong working knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow tickets
