Food Hub Program Coordinator Position Description

Farmer Foodshare (FF) seeks candidates for the position of Food Hub Program Coordinator.

Compensation and Benefits
The position is an exempt, year-round, “at will” position.
The base salary for this position is $50,000/yr and a 3% COLA already built into the next 2 yrs.

This position is in-person, on location in our Durham office.

Position Summary
Farmer Foodshare’s Food Hub Program Coordinator is a full-time, exempt position and acts as a key member of the Food Hub Program Team. This position will help with the everyday activities of running the Food hub program, but will specifically be the lead on managing the grant-funded sub-programs of our food hub. This includes sourcing for, executing, tracking, and reporting on various pieces of the Food Box program, the CSA program and the Climate Smart Ag Commodities grant.
The ideal candidate is highly-organized, with prior project management and/or nonprofit experience, as well as deep food system connections and/or experience.
Experience with CSA’s,farming/food systems experience or warehouse/delivery, or food hubs a plus.
Bachelor's degree is the preferred educational minimum.
We’re looking for someone who is proactive about pulling things onto their plate and taking responsibilities for a body of work, but who is also skilled at coordinating with others on and across teams. This job is a healthy mix of “doing” and “documenting” which will appeal to the ideal candidate.
Our organization has an annual budget of $2.7M, and a small staff of 12. This position reports directly to the Food Hub Director, and will also work closely with the Executive Director and across teams to ensure that our Food Hub Program is meeting its goals, a portfolio of grant-funded programs are managed responsibly, and that they are contributing to the day-to-day operations of the food hub.
