Job description

We are seeking a hard-working & talented chef to helm our Kitchen. We greatly value candidates that excel at managing people and have an undeniable passion for using local products to create a cuisine that has the power to connect people to the places their food comes from. This position will work closely with our Culinary Director to develop the opening menus and eventually take full responsibility for the operation. This is a new restaurant and butcher shop build out projected to open in February of 2024 in the heart of downtown Helena on Last Chance Gulch.

• Several years experience in managing, opening, and operating restaurants is a must.

• Experience in high volume restaurants and food production including Inventory, food cost, invoicing is crucial.

• Knowledge of Kitchen equipment maintenance and experience working with 3rd party contractors to manage and maintain restaurant equipment necessary(i.e hood cleaners, dishwashers, walk -in refrigeration service, combi oven, deep fryers, etc.).

• Experience working with local health dept. and applicable sanitary procedures a must.

• Experience with Google suite( sheets, docs, gmail, etc) is a plus.

Compensation

this position is: salaried, $75,000 - $100,000
