Rancho Gordo, a small but growing specialty-foods retailer, is seeking an outgoing and resourceful individual to assist customers with inquiries and sales over the phone and in person at our retail location. Learn--and educate others--about the fascinating world of heirloom beans and other new world foods while working in a casual, fun environment.

Duties and responsibilities:      

• Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming environment, especially for customers who are new to our product    
• Maintain detailed knowledge of all Rancho Gordo products
• Answer customer inquiries in a professional manner
• Handle wholesale and retail phone orders 
• Assist with special sales and marketing projects 

Skills and qualifications:

• Strong customer service skills
• Flexibility and willingness to take on a variety of different projects 
• Interest in food/cooking preferred
