Brooklyn Brew Shop was born out of the Brooklyn Flea in 2009, with the mission to make brewing simple, tasty, and most importantly, fun for space-strapped New Yorkers. We design stylish, easy-to-use Beer Making Kits and ingredient mixes for seasonally inspired beers, made especially for stove-top brewing.
In 2016, we launched FarmSteady, a brand designed to extend our straightforward and approachable attitude to all things food, including growing, foraging, making, and fermenting. Our aim is to inspire a new generation of makers, bringing the joy and creativity of artisanal food and craft beer to kitchens everywhere.
Our products are about more than just the end result—they're about the process itself. We believe in the power of making, the joy of creating something yourself, and the conversations that food and beer can spark, especially when it's homemade.

As the holiday season approaches, we are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Seasonal Sales Assistant. Whether you're a seasoned salesperson or just starting out, if you share our passion and are eager to learn, we want to hear from you!

Role Overview
As a Seasonal Sales Assistant, you will support our sales team in promoting our mission, products, and partners during the bustling holiday season.
Duration & Commitment
This is a temporary position lasting through the end of January, with potential to become a full-time position for the right candidate. The weekly commitment will be 3-4 days, offering flexibility to accommodate your schedule.
Location
Our team operates from Brooklyn and Kingston, NY. This position welcomes applicants from the New York area, with occasional meetups and the flexibility to work remotely.

Your Day-to-Day Might Include
- Responding to inquiries via phone and email.
- Reaching out to new and existing accounts via email.
- Assisting with order processing and basic data entry.
- Supporting the sales team in managing current accounts.
- Researching potential retail partners and markets.
Qualifications
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with CRM software is beneficial.
