The 140-acre former pasture and tree farm has been converted into a productive 9 acre diversified vegetable and fruit, herb and flower farm with a limited animal program. Job description
Hiring a Farm Manager for the Spring 2024 season (3rd season). Manage 1-4 farm employees to update the crop and amendments plan and budget. Create daily, weekly and seasonal schedules and procedures to maximize crop output and farm organization. Manage and execute procurement, planting, harvesting, washing, packing and sales to the restaurant. Manage compost and limited animal program (seasonal pigs, chickens, sheep, donkeys). Manage farm programming and farm integration into the hotel experience as well as reporting to owners and hotel management. Experience with four season farming and ability to operate a tractor required. Comfort and experience with Excel and budgets is critical.
