Manicaretti is seeking a full-time Customer Order Entry & Operations Specialist that will be based in our new warehouse in San Leandro, CA (East Bay). Our ideal candidate for this position is extremely detail-oriented, organized, and efficient, as well as friendly, kind, and helpful. We are looking for a reliable professional that can keep our business growing smoothly. Passion for food a plus! 

RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: 

  • Primary liaison between sales team and warehouse staff 
  • Enter & process orders received from office & customers 
  • Send order confirmations and invoices to customers 
  • Setup, track & follow up on all shipping logistics for LTL (less-than-truckload) freight shipments 
  • Resolve mis-shipments and delays as they arise 
  • Check inventory to make sure requested products are available 
  • Answer order-related questions from colleagues and customers 
  • Create and maintain order management-related reports 
  • Various administrative assignments and projects as needed 
  • Help out in warehouse as needed (picking/packing, receiving, physical inventory count)


  • Must have experience with order entry and superior follow-through skills 
  • Ability to timely and accurately input customer orders into computerized order-entry system; meticulous attention to detail required, 99% accuracy expected 
  • Must be comfortable with redundant work, with orders that range from easy to complex and challenging
  • Strong interpersonal and demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including excellent telephone skills
  • Must be friendly, engaged, and work well with others, including colleagues and customers to achieve common goals. 
  • Excellent computer skills: Outlook, MS Office, any accounting software, etc 
  • Experience with warehouse and trucking logistics is a big plus 
  • Strong ability to work independently, plan, prioritize, demonstrate initiative, and manage multiple tasks 
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing customer requests and requirements
  • Willing to learn with a can-do attitude  
  • Ability to lift 30 lb boxes

Position is full time 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, M-F
