Company description Fog Bottle Shop is a natural and organic wine bar and retail shop. We sell bottles, host events, and serve flights and small plates of food, some of which is made in our sister business Fog Eater cafe (located on the same property in the village of Mendocino). Mendocino is an actual dream to live in--a tiny village right on the Pacific Ocean with redwood forests just minutes away. In the summer, we spend our days off picnicking at the beach, and in the winter, we forage for the abundant mushrooms that cover the forest floors. San Francisco is only about 3 hours away, so trips to the city for museums and nightlife are easy and fun. If you are passionate about food and natural wine, this could be a really lovely way to trade in city life for rural paradise. Job description The position at Fog Bottle involves all aspects of wine retail. You’ll be buying wine, organizing our monthly wine club, and working the shop day to day, walking customers through what is often a first-time natural wine experience. You will pour wine and make cheese plates and dj with your favorite tunes. You will occasionally get lost in a moment of staring out the front door at the Pacific Ocean.
