Company description We have built a successful importing/distribution business and are primarily servicing the independent retail sector in specialty foods business. Our strong sales growth across our 14 years with each year being a new record for sales has created a vibrant dynamic business with a customer roster of the finest retailers in our business sector. Job description This role involves managing all procedures for inbounds and outbounds each week. Overseeing and managing the team's work each day is handled by a small management team in the main warehouse and this includes both in town trucks each day as well as extensive LTL shipments from our dock to all points around the country. 

The ideal candidate must be able to handle physical work in the coolers and working side by side with staff to move pallets and product through the system each day - with the balance of time at a desk and computer helping with operational management in terms of scheduling employees, inventory counts, etc.  

We need a person with strong organizational and leadership skills - attention to detail and accuracy is essential in our work. Customers will buy more from the distributor that gets the orders correct - and we have always and will always strive to get the orders right for our valued customers.

Finally, relevant experience in warehousing/distribution is a plus and we will consider this too in our hiring process. There is significant growth potential in this position as well as the company continues its growth and expansion into the New England territory through our new warehouse there in years to come.
