Job description
The Chez Panisse pastry team is looking for a full-time pastry cook with 3-5 years of restaurant pastry
experience. We are in search for someone with a working knowledge of using seasonal fruits, as our
menu is largely fruit based. Our kitchen is a fast paced, changing environment where we follow the
seasons closely and have a daily changing menu. This is not an entry level position.
This position requires experience with making a variety of fruit-based desserts including galettes, cakes,
ice creams and sorbets, cookies, custards, and various pastry doughs. Experience with plating desserts
is a plus. We are looking for a cook who is dedicated to learning and making desserts with excellent
quality and attention while maintaining focus on time management, and is able to bring experience to
our team.
Candidate must be willing to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Starting $22-25/HR + tips
