About the Position
Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Sales is accountable for strategic business development and management of Bella Cucina business across North America and International Distribution. This position will be responsible for the development and execution of the company sales growth strategy in several classes of trade. This position will manage supporting sales staff and oversee customer, broker and distributor relationships that ensure the company meets its growth targets. This position will work in partnership with Marketing, Finance and Operations to ensure proper planning and marketing in support of sales objectives being met in a timely and profitable manner.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- 10+ years proven CPG sales experience and track record building and scaling brands.
- Proven success in national chain, club and other channels of business.
- Established relationships and network nationally.
- Success hiring, managing & leading a diverse team of sales professionals.
- Robust sales management experience managing multiple product categories and customers.
- Demonstrated ability to be both “hands-on” (excellent attention to detail) and “strategic” (development and execute longer term sales plan)
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, be flexible, and make quick judgment calls.
- Able to understand and apply data insights to selling strategies.
- Strong reporting skills and short and long-term business planning.
- Excellent communication skills– active listener who delivers messages in a clear and compelling manner.
- Drives results – goal oriented – tenacious.
- Builds effective teams.
- Develops and attracts talent.
- Proficient PC and systems skills
- Remote position with travel requirements as needed.
Compensation: base + bonus opportunity

this position is: salaried, $50,000 - $75,000
