Company description
Founded in 2010, Share the Harvest Farm has been a pioneer in growing and donating fresh, nutritious produce on the East End of Long Island. As we prepare to celebrate our 15th year, we reflect on our journey with pride, having donated over 100 tons of produce to our community in need since our inception.
Employing organic farming methods we focus on creating a diverse and thriving soil ecosystem. This approach not only nurtures a healthy environment for our crops but also allows us to produce nutrient-rich vegetables. We also prioritize growing cold-tolerant staple crops, which are essential in providing much-needed produce during early spring and late fall — critical times when many local families face the greatest need. Thanks to generous donations over the years, we have been able to build greenhouses that extend our growing season. This advancement enables us to deliver fresh produce year-round, furthering our impact within the community
In addition to our charitable mission, we operate the EECO Farm Stand at 55 Long Lane in East Hampton. This boutique farm stand showcases not only our farm’s produce but also features goods from other local farms, and over 60 local east end producers. We take great pride in supporting our local makers, bakers, vendors, and artists, offering a unique range of artisanal goods. All proceeds from the farm stand help support our farm operations and mission of fighting food insecurity.
As a small farm with a big heart, Share the Harvest remains dedicated to our mission of nourishing and supporting our community, embodying the spirit of local resilience and generosity.
