Job Summary:
Creating a quality product in a timely fashion for guests and staff.
The Details:
Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates: Late April to late May through mid- to late-September 2024 (exact dates vary by location)
Pay: $19.50/hr
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40-45 hours (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities:
- Creating a quality product in a timely fashion for guests and staff.
- Communicate closely with chef on duty.
- Follows recipe cards and use a full range of cooking methods.
- Familiar with operation of kitchen equipment.
- Maintain Xanterra standards of sanitation throughout pantry/salad areas of the kitchen.
- Other related assignments as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Require 2 to 3 years experience as Lead Cook, First Cook, or is a culinary school graduate.
- Ability to communicate clearly so that others in the kitchen understand expectations and tasks.
- Ability to mentor and develop Line Cooks and kitchen staff.
- Must multitask to perform various cooking and lead duties at the same time.
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, approximately 8 hours.
- Must be able to walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, and reach for extended periods of time.

Compensation
