Job description
Chef & Flower Garden Assistant
Heyday Farm House is currently hiring a Chef & Flower Garden Assistant for the 2024 season. This person should have a positive attitude, hard work ethic, ability to work independently and good references. Successful candidates will be able to handle the physical requirements of the farm, have solid initiative and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities to include but are not limited to:
-Start seeds
-Transplant seedlings
-Maintain raised garden beds
-Weeding
-Harvest crops, wash, and pack
-Deadheading flowers
This job requires a commitment of 5 Days a week, 4-5 hours per day. Pay is DOE.
Compensation
this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $17.00 - $19.00
