We're a small bakery specializing in sourdough bread and viennoiserie opening in Saratoga Springs in March of 2024. Bakery Suzanne grew out of
Wilson's Bread, a mountain bakery I opened and ran in the Catskills. Named after my mom, Suzanne, the concept is centered on an appreciation for history and tradition, art and creativity, and home.
We source great ingredients, invest in high-quality equipment, and continually improve our product every week.
Job description
All aspects of day to day operations at the bakery
- Every step of bread and pastry production from mix to bake (we're a small team)
- Milling - We have a 26" New American Stone Mill which is the backbone of bread program
- Keeping the levain happy and the bakery clean
About you: + have experience in an artisan bakery producing quality bread and pastry
+ have pride in your work and attention to detail
+ always curious how to make something better and willing to do the work to make it so
+deep appreciation for food
Compensation
this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
