Based in the village of Catskill, NY, all our ingredients are sourced from within an hour from our cellar where we press, ferment, and age. After four great years, we’re developing a food program for our taproom.
Job description
We’re seeking to fill a unique part time role to lead our food service program—a combo of prep cook, chef, and food service director. Our ideal candidate is a skilled, experienced cook with creative ideas and a strong, independent work ethic.
We have worked with an incredible Hudson Valley-based chef who has designed a tight but creative bar menu. We are seeking someone to executive this menu, but who also has the creativity, flexibility and interest in adapting it seasonally. We care deeply about ingredients and plan to source from local farms as much as we can—the ideal candidate also cares about this and gets excited to work with our farm partners to create special dishes, with additional focus on fermentation.
There is a lot of flexibility with this role and with the right partner, a lot of growth potential.
Responsibilities:
- Prep hot and cold menu items
- Weekly inventory and reorders
- Develop and prepare weekly specials, seasonally
- Develop and execute seasonal menu changes
- Work with local farmers to source seasonal ingredients
- Prep seasonal ferments
Requirements:
- Professional experience as a cook

Compensation
this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
