Company description
Pacific Crest Farm is a 21-acre farm located on Vashon/Maury Island. Our farm is in owned by Pacific Crest Montessori School, which is located in Seattle. PCS students play an active role in the farm, coming out for weekly day trips, spring overnights and summer camps. We grow mixed vegetables, berries and flowers on less than 2 acres using methods that go beyond the organic requirements. We have diverse orchards full of apples, pears, cherries, plums, figs, hazels and chestnuts. In addition, we raise chickens and sheep. We are a regenerative farm, transitioning to no-till methods and using hand-scale cultivation, crop rotations and other sustainable land management techniques. We sell our produce on island through our popular roadside farm stand and to local restaurants.
