Regalis Texas is seeking a talented individual to deliver to restaurant accounts in Austin area. This position is a gateway to the specialty food and logistics sector. Through daily operations Regalis drivers are exposed to rare products and the inner workings of the imported foods global supply chain. This position is starting off part-time but could lead to full-time.

Responsibilities:

• Meet for daily product transfers and load the truck
• Plan and execute delivery routes around the greater Austin area
• Handle any customer issues during deliveries and coordinate with the sales rep any issues/concerns
• Product handling/identification of rare foods catalog (after training) including: Truffles, Wild Mushrooms, Caviar, Fresh Fish, Wagyu, Cheeses, Charcuterie, Imported Spanish Olive Oils, Vinegars, Tinned Seafood, Rare Spices and an ever evolving array of specialty products for high end restaurant clientele
• Demonstrate polite and professional interactions with restaurant customers

Desired candidates:

• Cooks and chefs that are passionate about food and are ready to make the next move
• Relevant wholesale food distribution experience
• Must have clean driving record (no CDL required; we run background and MVR checks)
• Polite demeanor and good energy
• Punctuality and efficiency
• Lift moderately heavy amounts (60-80lbs) of food products while making deliveries

Compensation
