Company description
Providence Organic Farm exists to nourish the Northern Michigan Community with organic produce, grass-fed meats, and delicious food & drink, and to provide a space to learn about the earth, ourselves and each other through intentional relationship and connection.
Family owned and operated, Providence Farm was stablished in 2006, by Ryan & Andrea Romeyn.
Providence now grows 30 acres certified organic vegetables & rotationally grazes small herds of Katahdin meat lamb, Belted Galloway beef cattle & Forest-raised Heritage-Breed Pork.
Providence Organic Farm is located on the north end of Torch Lake, on M-88, one mile east of US 31 at Eastport. (Which is exactly half-way between Traverse City and Petoskey, as well as Elk Rapids and Charlevoix! We are also 1.5 miles from hiking and Lake Michigan swimming at Barnes County Park.)
Providence Organic Farm has an on-site Farm Market, Café & Natural Foods Store, with wrap-around porch and views of the farm...
We also have year-round Farm Box CSA subscription program & wholesale accounts for our vegetables.
We also host workshops, classes, tours and other events throughout the year.
