Bread(ish) Gluten Free Bakery is a woman-owned, dedicated gluten free bakery featuring hand-crafted Artisan breads and French-style pastries in Austin TX. We are unique in our market, offering 100% scratch-made breads and pastries with nothing artificial, no preservatives and no dyes, made entirely from whole food ingredients. We believe being gluten free shouldn’t mean one can’t have beautiful, delicious, nutritive food. Not just another cupcake outlet, Bread(ish) provides real food, with a seasonal focus and a commitment to responsible sourcing.

As a company, Bread(ish) seeks to break the mold of exploitative workplaces typical of the food service industry, which rely on low-wage labor to make a profit. Job description

Seeking experienced, passionate Pastry Chef / Baker to help propel this fast-growing Dedicated Gluten Free Bakery to the next level. We specialize in truly exceptional Artisan style breads and European style Pastries without the artificial ingredients, cloying sweetness and kitsch of much of the Gluten Free offering of our competitors. Our Customers see, feel, and taste the difference and we feel it in our rapid growth: our revenue has grown by nearly 15 times since starting, and has tripled this calendar year alone. It’s an exciting, fast-paced, well-loved company and we are seeking the right Talent to help us continue our incredible growth. Experienced kitchen professionals are encouraged to apply. Pastry and/or Bread baking experience is prized but is not required. Gluten Free or Gluten Free Curious candidates a plus, but a basic understanding of what Gluten Free means is a good place to start. We are always looking to expand our offerings, particularly into more Dairy Free and Vegan goods, so if these are specialties of yours, that’s also a big plus.

We offer extensive training in the unique, proprietary recipes and techniques that have made us so popular. We are as flexible and accommodating as we can be with schedule but candidates must be available for early morning and weekend shifts. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
