Jan Greer and Michael Kokas started Upstate Farms in 1989 when they saw the opportunity to connect restaurants in NYC with the bounty of Hudson Valley farms. Thirty years later Upstate Farms continue to deliver local food grown on small family Farms to New York City chefs. We deliver products grown on our farm as well as a variety of farms in the Hudson Valley and our network represents over a thousand acres of farmland throughout New York State.

Job description

We have positions at our Farm for packing, picking and deliveries. The position requires that you are organized and able to communicate clearly. Responsibilities will include keeping the warehouse clean, packing orders, working in the field. There is also an opportunity for a driver to deliver our CSA boxes on Saturdays to NYC. We are looking for someone who is reliable. This is a year round position.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $15-20/hr
