Open Eye Beverage Co™ is an Austin-based, women-owned beverage company that produces global beverages for food service, retail, and eCommerce. We are a better-for-you AND better-for-the-planet brand that focuses on ethical sourcing & production, community building, and authentic-tasting blends.

Open Eye makes chai drinking delicious and simple. We produce a line of beverage bases from high-quality ingredients. When mixed with milk, water, or alcohol, our concentrates taste like an authentic, slow-brewed cup of chai. However, instead of spending 15 minutes making their own tea, or spending six dollars at a coffee shop for an over-sweetened “chai tea latte,” customers can access an amazing cup of chai in one minute flat.

We believe we can build a better food system through our commitment to top-tier ingredients, sustainable production, and our community. We started selling at a local farmers market in 2021, and since then have grown to sell through local groceries, wholesale to local coffee shops and cafes, and eCommerce.

Open Eye is a multi-channel, award-winning beverage brand in Austin. It was founded in 2021 as a side-hustle and grew to $100k in revenue in 2023 through food service, retail accounts, and eComm/ DTC. We operate at 50% gross margins and prioritize ethical sourcing and authentic tasting blends.

We currently offer 9 SKUs (3 flavors in 3 sizes) and have recently completely R&D on a canned, ready-to-drink chai. It is the first of its kind and has verbal commitment for shelf space from 20 central Texas retail doors (including Whole Foods and Central Market). We work with one local distributor.

All production is managed in-house but can easily be outsourced to copacker.
