Job description
As a Sales Manager at Macar Foods, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence. You will develop strategic sales plans, and foster relationships with key stakeholders to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability. Additionally, you will be actively involved in Mediterranean ethnic markets, understanding diverse consumer needs, and leveraging cultural insights to enhance our market reach.This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the growth of a forward-thinking company in the plant-based food industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with potential customers, distributors, and retail partners.
- Manage key accounts and negotiate contracts to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Conduct regular visits to ethnic stores and specialty markets to gather market intelligence and identify unique product opportunities.
- Identify trends in ethnic grocery and retail markets to inform product development and merchandising strategies.
- Ensure that products are appropriately displayed and promoted within ethnic stores, aligning with store-specific merchandising guidelines.
- Represent Macar Foods at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand awareness and networking opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales management
- Demonstrated experience in visiting and engaging with Mediterranean grocery stores or markets, with a strong understanding of cultural nuances and community dynamics.
- Experience in the Mediterranean food industry is needed.
- Knowledge of specific ethnic markets and consumer behavior, particularly in areas related to food
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Bilingual or multilingual skills to facilitate communication with diverse store owners and customers (arabic, turkish, greek).
- Strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach and a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to travel as needed.
