Job description

We are looking for an exceptional server to join our team as the full-time Tavern Server, who will guide service in our intimate fine dining restaurant. This role is Wednesday to Sunday, 2.45pm-11pm (Wed-Sat) and 8.45am-4pm on Sundays. The ideal candidate for this role has 1-3 years of restaurant experience in an independent restaurant with a thoughtful approach. Our service model is high-touch, driven by empathy, and dynamic. Experience and knowledge of wine and wine service is a key aspect of this role.

Responsibilities:
-Drive an incredible experience at the table with guests using every tool our restaurant has to make guests ecstatically happy
-Participate in daily menu meetings, and utilize food and beverage knowledge in service
-'Advocate for the experience' and manage sales at the table
-Follow established steps of service, engage a manager as needed, and employ thoughtful touches in the dining room
-Demonstrate wine knowledge and comfortability with wine service
-Maintain a positive approach with the team and guests

Qualifications:
-2+ years fine dining FOH experience
-Understanding of POS and steps of service
-Full-time Wednesday to Sunday schedule weekly
-Able to lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for 8 hours shifts
