Newhall farm is a private estate raising primarily Randall Cattle for grass-fed, grass finished beef. We are proud to assist in removing the Randall cattle,Vermont's only declared heritage breed, from the 'critical list.

We also raise Tunis sheep for meat and poultry for egg production. We practice humanely raised and rotational grazing with all our livestock.

Job description

We are looking for an assistant farm manager to help with the duties and responsibilities involved in the daily operations of Newhall Farm with an emphasis on livestock production of beef, sheep and poultry. We practice humane treatment and rotational grazing of all livestock.

This position will require to learn or have knowledge of operating various farm equipment for haying, snow removal etc.
This is a salary position based on experience, vacation and health benefits are included.

this position is: salaried, $35,568* - $50,000
