Our Produce Manager will ensure the Produce Department runs smoothly and efficiently.
This role requires in-depth knowledge of products, strong vendor relationships, and an
understanding of produce seasonality. Someone who continues to be interested in learning
more about our Ends, the products we carry, and our buying criteria will be successful in
providing the highest standard of service to MNFC customers and co-workers.
Our ideal candidate will have retail experience - ideally in the natural foods industry and has
demonstrated success with the following duties:
- Supervise and motivate staff, while demonstrating accountability for the performance
of the department, in order to support a professional and fun work environment - Create an exciting product mix by reviewing product movement and monitoring
national sale trends - Maintain vibrant merchandise displays for visual appeal, cleanliness and signage
- Achieve fiscal goals by using variable margin pricing and negotiating fair prices with
vendors - Maintain a well-stocked inventory through strategic ordering and regular audits
- Actively participate in hiring, training, and conducting staff performance evaluations
with Manager - Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Is able to lift 60 lbs repeatedly and enjoys physical work in a fast-paced retail
environment

Starting salary is $60,000 - 70,000 depending on experience. $1,000 Hiring Bonus available after 90-days of employment.
