Job description
We are seeking a talented Meal Prep Chef to prepare healthy and simple meals on a weekly basis. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about healthy eating and can create simple, nutritious meals with minimal fuss.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare five lunches for the week, consisting of two different protein options:
- Accompaniments such as sweet potatoes, quinoa, or rice
- Alternate the lunch protein options to ensure variety throughout the week.
- Prepare a simple breakfast option: Chia pudding made with coconut yogurt with fruit toppings available.
- Prepare a few simple dinner options in large Tupperware that can be easily mixed and matched (protein, rice, veggies etc.)
- Perform a small amount of grocery shopping to ensure all necessary ingredients are available.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a chef or cook, preferably with a focus on meal prepping and healthy eating.
- Knowledge of nutritional guidelines and healthy meal options.
- Ability to create simple, tasty, and nutritious meals.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Schedule:
- The chef will come to Tribeca once a week to prepare all the meals.
Compensation:
- This is an hourly paid position. Rates will be discussed during the interview process.
