Job description

We are looking to hire a full time FOH team member. Responsibilities include but are not limited to cashier / food runner at a fast paced, high volume cafè in north Bronx. We will also train to you to become a barista.

We are looking for team members who are serious about local & sustainable food, excellent coffee, and building community.

Hours: MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK SUNDAYS

* Must have excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of hospitality
* Strong communication skills and a friendly and outgoing demeanor
* Ability to be flexible and assist fellow team members & management
* Ability to delegate tasks and multitask under pressure
* Previous experience working at a fast paced, high volume cafe (or restaurant) greatly preferred!
* Previous barista experience not required but greatly preferred! (will train)

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $15-20/hr
