Company description
We are an independent cooperative grocery located in a vibrant mid-size city at the Foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. Serving East Tennessee since 1981, we specialize in local, organic, and natural foods and cater to a wide variety of diets and lifestyles.
As the only food cooperative in Tennessee, we don’t think like any other grocery store. Our dedication to our community is paramount. Member-owned and featuring products from over 40 local growers, raisers, bakers and makers, Three Rivers Market acts as a powerful catalyst for retaining wealth within our community and building resilience in our food supply.
Our store physically inhabits a renovated 1930's bakery in a thriving commercial district known for independent businesses and the arts. Due to exemplary adaptive reuse and green building practices, we are a proud recipient of a 2012 Green Project Award from the U.S. Green Building Council, East Tennessee Chapter. In addition to focusing on sustainability, we value worker well-being by offering competitive pay, benefits and discounts, wellness reimbursements, and regular professional development opportunities.
We think that Three Rivers Market is a great place to work!
