Small organic farm in Sheridan, Wyoming.  We grow mixed veggies and flowers for farmer’s market and farm-stand sales. Our focus is salad mix, arugula and baby greens. We also grow a wide range of roots, tomatoes and squash. Our farm sells mostly direct to consumer — so what you harvest meets the community directly! 

Job description

We are young farmers learning to grow in an area with a short season— everyday we make mistakes and learn to farm better. We want to foster an environment where you can grow and learn with us. This will be our fourth season farming in Sheridan. 

We are looking for help with planting and harvesting mainly. Someone who likes to work outside or has a passion for plants would be a great fit. Some days are hot, require heavy lifting and long days. Some days are amazing you can pick what you plant. A positive attitude goes a long way and that’s something we are looking for in a worker. 

Our hope is that you could commit to working at the very least 30 hours per week. We have the ability to find you affordable housing if that is a need (around 200$ per month). 

Having transportation would be a necessary as we lease two properties and sometimes work on both during one day.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $15-20/hr
