Job description

.We are looking to grow our wine program with the right candidate to join our staff as an Assistant Wine Buyer.

We are looking for someone to lead our wine department. This position is both the lead buyer for wine as well as the supervisor for the wine staff. This position also collaborates with the cheese and kitchen teams in order to help create fun events for public tastings

Typical daily tasks include stocking, receiving deliveries, placing orders and handling vendor credits, assisting customers with wine recommendations  and special orders.

Who You Are:

First and foremost, you're passionate about wine. You're a strong communicator and a fast learner. You're always on the hunt to find excellent wines and are a great team player.  You have familiarity with the Google Suite, e-commerce, and are willing to collaborate on promoting products for the shop. 

Compensation

this position is: salaried, varies DOE, $50,000.00 - $55,000.00
