Job description

We are always looking to improve our commitment to quality produce and support for local farms and sustainably grown fruits and vegetables to share with our customers. 

We are looking for someone to lead our Produce and Grocery department.  This position is both the lead buyer for produce and grocery items as well as collaborating with the kitchen to minimize loss and consolidate orders.

Typical daily tasks include stocking, weeding out and replacing bad product, receiving deliveries, placing orders with multiple vendors, seeking out new relationships with quality producers, and assisting customers with produce questions.  

We are a fast-paced deli environment, so a capability to work quickly and effectively is encouraged.  We encourage applicants that have a familiarity with retail produce and a desire to learn more on the job while also being proud of the work and quality they're bringing to Bacco's as a member of our team.

Compensation

this position is: salaried, varies DOE, $50,000.00 - $55,000.00
