Bar Carlo is a lively and welcoming restaurant offering exceptional service and hospitality. We host a variety of evening events that reflect the vibrant culture of the community. We seek a motivated, outgoing Event Sales/Coordinator to drive our event sales and help us elevate our event offerings.
Position Overview:
As the Event Sales and Coordinator at Bar Carlo, you will drive event bookings and manage event logistics from start to finish. This role is commission-based to start, with the potential for growth into a combined salary and commission-based role as the event business expands. Your key responsibilities will include generating new leads, coordinating with clients, and ensuring all events run smoothly and align with Bar Carlo’s high standards of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:
Proactively generate and follow up on event leads to increase evening event bookings.
Develop strong relationships with potential clients, businesses, and community organizations.
Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including menus, staffing, and special requests.
Work closely with the Bar Carlo team to ensure seamless execution of events.
Handle inquiries, quotes, and event agreements promptly
Maintain organized event calendars and track client communications
Conduct post-event follow-up to build repeat business and client satisfaction
Requirements:
Proven sales experience, ideally in event or hospitality industries
Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented mindset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for events
Compensation:
$25-$35/hr, dependent upon experience + sales bonuses per event completion.
