Job description

The Chez Panisse pastry team is looking for a full-time pastry cook with 3-5 years of restaurant pastry experience, including plating. We are in search for someone with a working knowledge of using seasonal fruits. Our kitchen is a fast paced, changing environment where we follow the seasons closely and have a daily changing menu.

This position requires experience with making a variety of fruit-based desserts including galettes, cakes, ice creams and sorbets, cookies, custards, and various pastry doughs. We are looking for a cook who is dedicated to learning and making desserts with excellent quality and attention to detail while maintaining focus on time management. We are seeking a candidate with 3-5 years experience that will bring their strengths to our team.

Candidate must be willing to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Starting $23-25/HR + tips
