Founded in 1993, Small World Coffee is a woman-owned business deeply rooted in the Princeton community. We operate two bustling cafes, a dedicated Kitchen that creates the magic behind our menu, and a Wholesale Coffee Roasting Facility in Rocky Hill, NJ. For nearly 30 years, we’ve been a vibrant part of Princeton and beyond, serving high-quality coffee and building meaningful connections.

We're hiring Kitchen Staff and Front of House Baristas! Starting at $17/hour plus tips (an additional $9.50 - $11 per hour, depending on the season), you'll receive comprehensive training, with wage increases at key milestones—reaching $18/hour by six months. Our structured approach to training and transparent management style helps team members understand the business’s inner workings and make a real impact.

We also hold annual reviews, where everyone has a voice. During these reviews, team members assess themselves, their co-workers, and the company, creating a meaningful feedback loop that helps us all grow together.

Job description

Our kitchen operates from early morning to late afternoon. Each team member participates in recipe production for our baked goods, our short-order grill, and our signature beverages.

The team rotates through stations on each shift from recipe production, working the grill, dishing, and recipe development.

Everything is made from scratch, in small batches, with real ingredients. Small World Coffee's kitchen is the magic behind our menu!

We will consider both Part-Time and Full-Time applicants.

Everyone must work either Saturday or Sunday.
