Cure Organic farm is a woman-owned, commercial, diversified family farm, growing over 100 varieties of organic vegetables, herbs, berries, and specialty cut flowers on public and private land. We have produce, meat and eggs available for sale 50 weeks of the year. Our main markets include our Community Supported Agriculture program, Boulder County and Denver restaurants, and our farm stand.
We host tours and field trips to teach groups about agroecology, organic food production and sustainable systems on the farm. Our staff is a team of aspiring new and experienced farmers. This position offers in the field, hands on training, as well as an introduction to farm business management. Anne Cure started the farm in 2005.

We are looking for farmers to join our team for the 2025 season!
Our Farm Crew is responsible for all daily farm operations. You will learn to use the tractors and equipment, greenhouse planting and watering schedules, field cultivation, irrigation systems, harvesting, post-harvest handling, distribution, record keeping, farm stand sales, and poultry and goat care. The majority of work requires the physical capability to contribute daily in a rigorous, fast paced agricultural setting, creating an incredibly rewarding yet demanding work environment and life experience.
A positive attitude and attention to detail is critical. Preference will be given to candidates who can commit to the full growing season. Please consider this commitment before applying.
Season: April through October
Pay: $16.75/hr. with weekly produce

Status: Both full and part time positions are available
Full Time: 5 days a week, either Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday (40–50 hrs/wk)
Part Time: Monday, Tuesday and Friday (20–30 hrs/wk)
Farm Crew members are responsible for all daily farm operations. Field work includes:

Green house and field seeding, transplanting, hand weeding, setting up irrigation, trellising, harvesting, washing and packing produce

Planting and harvesting flowers and making bouquets for CSA and Farm Stand

Opportunities for mechanical cultivation, and field prep is available for candidates with experience or strong desire to learn

General poultry care including feeding, watering, collecting eggs, and moving portable fences

Farm Stand sales, Restaurant and CSA distribution
Weekly Schedule Details
Farm work varies based on the season, but below is an outline of a typical weekly schedule:
Daily Start: In March and April our workday begins at 8:00 am, but by May our start time is 6:00 am.
Breaks: We have 15-minute break mid-morning and take lunch around noon.
Daily End: We're usually finished by 4:30pm with the exception of the weekdays we're at the evening farm stand or CSA distribution. In the peak of the season Friday harvests run long and we may not finish up until after 5:00 pm.
While we all work together as a team, some of our farm crew works Monday–Friday while some work Tuesday–Saturday. Our schedule will rotate throughout the season.
Each day begins with a morning meeting outlining our work plan for the day, then animal chores. We come out of the field between 3-3:30pm to finish up the day with watering the green houses, animal chores, cleaning the wash station and putting all equipment away.

Monday: Focus on flowers and field work. Harvest flowers for CSA. Seeding, transplanting, setting up irrigation, weeding, mechanical cultivating, bed and field prep. Cooler inventory.

Tuesday: Focus on harvest and packing. Harvest for CSA distribution, restaurant orders, and farm store. Boulder and Denver restaurant deliveries go out Tuesday afternoons.

Wednesday: Finish harvesting for CSA distribution. Cut flowers and make bouquets for farm stand/CSA. Farm Stand/CSA set-up and distribution. Field work.

Thursday: Cut flowers and make bouquets for weekend CSA and Farm Stand. Field work including weeding, seeding, transplanting, trellising. Cooler inventory.

Friday: Harvest for weekend CSA distribution, restaurants and Farm Store. Wash and pack all produce.

Saturday: CSA Distribution and Farm Stand set-up and sales. Animal chores. Greenhouse watering.
Preference given to applicants available to begin work the first week of April and commit to staying through the growing season which ends in November. Can't commit to the whole season but still really interested? Apply and let us know your availability dates.
