About Valley Roots Farm:
Valley Roots Farm is a chemical-free, regenerative 150-acre year 'round farm committed to cultivating healthy ecosystems and nutrient-rich produce. Our farm features over an acre of permanent raised beds, three high tunnels, a heated nursery, cold storage, and a well-equipped infrastructure to support efficient farming operations.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Farm Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure the highest quality production, and contribute to the farm’s continued growth. This role requires hands-on management of our CSA, farmer's markets, crop production, infrastructure maintenance, and a commitment to regenerative farming principles. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to innovate within our expanding operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and promote CSA.

Operate and maintain farm equipment, irrigation systems, high tunnels, and cold storage facilities
Coordinate planting, harvesting, and post-harvest handling for market sales
Manage inventory, supplies, and farm infrastructure, ensuring efficiency and productivity
Supervise and collaborate with farm workers, volunteers, or interns as needed
Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, sustainability, and profitability
Attend and manage farm presence at local markets
Explore and implement new business ideas or ventures that align with Valley Roots Farm’s mission

Qualifications:

Experience in farm management, regenerative agriculture, or sustainable food production
Strong mechanical and technical skills for farm equipment operation and maintenance
Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and manage time effectively
Willingness to work in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
Experience with direct-to-market sales, farm planning, or agribusiness development is a plus

Vegetable Farm Grower - NOT AN INTERNSHIP- FULL TIME POSITION

Over an acre of permanent raised beds with a well for irrigation. Heated nursery, one heated 24×96′ double poly high tunnel with electric and hydrant, one 24×96 double poly high tunnel with electric and hydrant, cold storage/pack shed, dry equipment shed for your gear, 732 BCS w/ tiller and precision depth roller, overhead micro spinners, Xcel wobblers with header hoses for irrigation, drip tape avail, 100+ 72/128 cell seed trays, paper pot transplanter, 40+ paper pot trays, 3 paper pot chain boxes (CP303, LP303-10, LP303-15), Paper pot Quick Drop Seeder, Jang seeder, earthway seeder, 3′, 7′, 15′ wide landscape fabric with holes for crops, greens harvester, wash station, harvest totes. Sunday summer/winter market is already locked down. Will discuss full infrastructure if interested.

Pay based on experience.

Open to other business ideas and ventures.
