Cellanie Farms is a newly founded, 140-acre, organic-in-transition market farm located 5 miles north of Madison in the Town of Westport, WI. We are developing a regenerative, tractor scale, diversified vegetable farm and perennial fruit orchard on approximately 16 acres.

Cellanie’s mission is to re-connect individuals to their food, and the land from which that food is grown. We intend to be good stewards of the land while producing nutrient-dense, delicious food for our local community. Job description

Job Summary:

Cellanie Farms is seeking individuals eager to learn about and practice regenerative farming techniques at a commercial scale! The full-time seasonal farm crew role offers opportunity to work with an experienced team to grow delicious, nutritious and diversified produce. Crew members will participate in all aspects of growing produce. This is a great position for someone who wants to work hard and experience the benefits that regenerative farming brings to human and environmental health.

· The ideal start date is early April with steady work anticipated through early November 2025

· 40 hours per week with opportunities to work more.

· 5 working days per week.

· Weekend work may be necessary.

Responsibilities:

· Planting and seeding crops alongside small crew and management team.

· Run market for up to three days a week.

· Deliver orders.

· Weed, harvest, wash and pack produce.

· Deep clean and maintain pack shed.

· Participate in weekly meetings.

· Follow direction from management and SOPs.

· Train new crew members.

Qualifications/Ideal Candidate:

· Previous farming, landscaping, conservation, or similar experience preferred.

· Must be a hard worker with ability to work consistently to meet performance expectations.

· Reliable and flexible with a can-do attitude

· Ability to lift 50 lbs and be active throughout the day with frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting.

· Must be prepared to work in all types of weather.

· Desire to learn about regenerative farming and get your hands dirty.

· Ability to work on a small team and follow directions well.

· Communicate clearly and frequently with team

Compensation:

Competitive wage between $16-$19/hour depending on experience.

Performance-based raises available.

Benefits:

· Paid 30 minute lunch break.

· $150 Reimbursement for new gear.

· Bonus opportunity at up to 5% of earnings.
