Job description
ABOUT THE POSITION: This is the twelfth season for this opportunity to learn about all the local edible/medicinal wild flora and fungi in the region from an expert guide. The position entails participating in some of or all aspects of the operation: identifying, harvesting, processing, hauling, packing, and delivering product, as well as other aspects of running a small business. This position runs for about ten weeks from mid-March through mid-May. Options include Full, Part-time, or apprenticeship positions.
REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must have a good work ethic, a healthy physicality, a willingness to get dirty and enjoy working outside in all manner of weather. Previous foraging experience is Not a prerequisite. Having one's own transportation is helpful, but perhaps not necessary.
Compensation
this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $15.00 - $20.00
