Company description
Persephone Farm is a certified organic vegetable farm in Lebanon, OR. Located on land which was once home to the Kalapuya, now represented by the Confederated Tribes of the Grande Ronde. We grow and market only those crops which are adapted to this land and climate. Our current focus is on growing garlic, vegetable seed and some annual storage crops.
Additionally, the farm is currently working with the Oregon Agricultural Trust on a conservation easement to protect its land from any future development. And in an effort to support tribes and return some of the farm landscape to native plants we are embarking on a collaborative project with Elderberry Wisdom Farm, the South Santiam Watershed Council, and The Institute for Applied Ecology, to restore Camas Prairie to part of Persephone Farm.
