Bloom Provisions operates as Bloom Community Cafe in Amery WI. The cafe focuses on sourcing local food from farmers and food producers who care about sustainable & regenerative practices as well as nutrient dense food. The cafe is embedded in/alongside a garden center, which focuses on a sustainable planet by offering native plants, perennials, hand seeded vegetables, culinary and medicinal herbs, shurbs, trees, and bedding plants. The new cafe is ambitious to close the loop on food waste by minimally processing food and reselling any food unused in cafe as provisions.

Job description

We are a new community cafe in a small town about 50 minutes east of the metro area of Minneapolis/St. Paul MN. We are surrounded by local farmers committed to ethical and sustainable farming practices. We are looking for some help in our kitchen, and since we are just starting, the position is part-time. We aspire to hire a full time chef, or a couple who has the skillset and drive to help us open more hours of service for the cafe. We care about local food and minimally processed food that is nutrient dense. We believe food is sacred and that eating is not a recreation.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $15.00 - $25.00
