The Row 7 Warehouse and Seed Operations Assistant will be an integral part of the Row 7 team, supporting all aspects of the fulfillment process and liaising with customers. The role will support Row 7’s produce, creative, and operations team members on a regular basis.
JOB CLASSIFICATION

REPORTS TO Warehouse and Fulfillment Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES
Warehouse & Fulfillment
- Support daily order fulfillment under the direction of the Warehouse and Fulfillment Manager, including packing and checking orders and coordinating daily shipments
- Manage seed and packaging inventory systems and coordinate seed packing and restocking
- Log and report seed lot quality data on incoming seed lots with Warehouse Manager and Seed Systems Specialist
- Assist with quality control sample allocation and reporting
- Assist in seed lot treatments as needed
- Maintain trial seed inventory and pack and ship trial seed orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
- Serve as the point of contact for large-volume seed allocation
- Checks and maintains shared spreadsheet daily for new requests and accuracy
- Responsible for donation inventory system and allocation
- Support warehouse staff meetings by tracking deliverable and operational issues
- Other warehouse administrative tasks as needed or assigned
Customer Support (November - March)
- Assist with answering questions and inquiries via phone and email in a timely, kind, and professional manner, including reception and troubleshooting of incoming orders
- Support troubleshooting quality issues and ensure that customer issues are resolved satisfactorily
- Communicate grower and customer feedback to team members to support the development of technical growing resources
- Participate in outreach calls to existing customers
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- General computer literacy, including G Suite
- Working knowledge of warehouse operations, Airtable, Shopify, and Shipstation is a plus but not required
- Understanding of organic agriculture and general ecological principles preferred

DETAILS
- The Warehouse and Seed Operations Assistant is a full-time, regular (year-round), non-exempt position
- Hourly wage of $25 - $28 per hour
