The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, planting, and overseeing the entire growing process for summer, late summer and fall harvests using organic farming principles.

Job description

Plan, plant, and manage a vegetable and herb garden for summer/fall 2025. Perform all garden maintenance tasks, including weeding, pruning and harvesting while avoiding synthetic chemicals. Maintain garden tools, irrigation systems, and overall cleanliness of the work area. Work independently and efficiently to ensure a successful growing season.

Requirement: Experience in organic gardening or farming (2 years), knowledge of soil health, ability to work outdoors and perform physical gardening tasks, self-motivated with attention to detail and passion for sustainable growing practices. knowledge of native plants is helpful.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $15.00 - $18.00
