Analyst - Digital Strategy & Restaurant Innovation

What You'll Do:

• Lead digital strategy initiatives for small client projects (>=$30K value), from defining goals to executing and measuring impact.
• Turn data into strategy by analyzing client performance metrics to uncover opportunities for optimization, automation, and revenue growth.
• Optimize restaurant digital experiences by refining online ordering menus (e.g., Toast, Square, DoorDash) to increase sales and improve operational efficiency.
• Help drive new revenue opportunities by informing strategic plans for catering, delivery, and order-ahead programs.
• Diagnose underperforming digital channels, identifying gaps in pricing, marketing, and UX that limits revenue potential.
• Support the enhancement of digital operations by researching and recommending technology solutions.
• Track and document key insights, ensuring all recommendations align with Figure 8’s strategic vision and client goals.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, monitoring shifts in digital ordering, loyalty, marketing, and automation that impact restaurant success.
• Specialize in a key domain area (e.g., digital marketing, POS technology, AI-driven personalization) and contribute to thought leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of digital transformation initiatives.
• Expand your industry network, engaging with key players in restaurant tech, operations, and marketing.

What You Bring:

• Deep expertise in restaurant operations, digital technology, or consulting, with a proven ability to translate industry insights into action.
• Strong data analysis skills, you can extract insights from complex datasets and turn them into clear, compelling strategies.
• Experience designing digital strategies that create efficiencies and drive new revenue streams (e.g., catering, delivery, online ordering).
• A strong understanding of restaurant marketing, including promotions, digital advertising, and loyalty programs.
• Proven ability to lead client engagements, balancing high-level strategy with tactical execution.
• The ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Your Background

We’re looking for candidates with 8+ years of experience in:

• Hospitality and/or restaurant operations, with a focus on digital strategies, technology adoption, or transformation.
• Consulting in digital transformation, foodservice, restaurant technology, or operations.
• Data analysis, applying insights to drive business decisions and optimize digital performance.
• Director-level or higher experience in restaurant operations, marketing, or technology.
• Business transformation, e-commerce, or digital strategy, particularly within hospitality, retail, or multi-unit enterprises.

Compensation

this position is: salaried, varies DOE, $75,000.00 - $105,000.00
