Job description
Role Overview:
Oversees the entire warehouse operation, focusing on employee management, training, hiring, & error reduction. This role ensures peak efficiency and quality compliance across all warehouse functions.
Responsibilities:
- Full Warehouse Oversight: Direct and manage daily operations across both Am & Pm Teams, ensuring smooth shift transitions and workflow optimization.
- Manage Am-team Warehouse Manager & Pm-team Warehouse Manager, ensuring they both achieve operational KPIs.
- Cross-Team Coordination: Work closely with procurement, warehouse managers, and leadership teams to ensure smooth operations and proactive issue resolution.
- Strategically schedule warehouse leads and associates to ensure pack goals are met, while remaining within budget.
- Hiring: Lead warehouse hiring efforts, ensuring the warehouse remains adequately staffed to meet operational goals.
- Training & Development: Oversee employee training programs, onboarding, and coaching to ensure consistent adherence to warehouse protocols, efficiency, and quality standards.
- Identify and resolve operational errors, implementing corrective measures to improve order accuracy & quality.
- Key metrics: Labor Rate & Error Rate.
Ideal Candidate:
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse or fulfillment center management.
- Strong attention to detail for quality control and error prevention. Food quality, particularly produce, should be your strong suit.
- Proven ability to manage high-paced operations and improve speed and efficiency.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams, ensuring adherence to fast-paced production schedules.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on operational improvement.
