Job description
Your Role:
As a Field Technician, you’ll maintain our chestnut, hazelnut, and silvopasture fields. Your days will be filled with operating machinery (50% of your time) and hands-on land maintenance, directly supporting the growth of our thriving agroforestry system.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring plant health
Planting and seeding large-scale tree and shrub agroforestry system
Mowing and clearing in alleys and around trees
Manual work, such as removing rocks and repairing fencing
Small construction jobs
Seeding and mulching
Compost application and production
Woodchip application
Road improvements
Invasive species management
Loading and hauling
Assist with livestock management
Assist with equipment maintenance
General farm tidying & upkeep
Engage with visitors, sharing our mission and farm experience
What We’re Looking For:
Passion for regenerative agriculture and sustainable farming
Hands-on experience with heavy farm machinery
Valid driver’s license in order to operate farm machinery and fulfill job duties
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Equipment maintenance is a huge plus
Loading and hauling experience a plus
Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and a love for the outdoors
Excitement to sit on a mower for many hours (when needed)
Compensation:
$17.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience

part-time or full-time basis
single season (April to October only)
