Our cafe is a hidden gem, just off of Cheshire Bridge Rd, in Atlanta, GA. The cafe is inspired by Julia's South African-Jewish roots. We serve specialty coffee, brekkie (breakfast), brunch, lunch, cocktails and natural wines daily.

Daily Chew expands beyond the cafe. We create simple, seasonal, and nourishing experiences through our catering, events, and farmer's markets.

Job description

Position Title: Farmers Market Manager (Vendor Operations)
Reports To: General Manager

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Farmers Market Manager (Vendor Operations) is responsible for managing the company’s participation in various farmers markets. This includes coordinating with market organizers, overseeing product logistics, promoting the company's offerings, ensuring compliance with market regulations, and
providing excellent customer service. The manager will work closely with market staff, other vendors, and customers to ensure a successful and profitable presence at each market.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Support Market Coordination:
○ Establish and maintain relationships with farmers market organizers.
○ Schedule and coordinate the company’s participation in various markets.
○ Ensure timely arrival, setup, and breakdown of the company’s market booth.

2. Product Management:
○ Ensure the transportation of products to the market is safe and secure.
○ Ensure products are displayed attractively and restocked as needed.
○ Monitor inventory levels and manage sales data.

3. Promotion and Customer Engagement:
○ Develop and implement strategies to attract customers to the company’s booth.
○ Engage with customers to provide information about products and the company.
○ Collect customer feedback and report it to the company for continuous improvement.
○ Work collaboratively with market staff to meet or exceed monthly sales goals

4. Regulatory Compliance:
○ Ensure compliance with all market rules, regulations, and food safety compliance.
○ Maintain a clean and safe booth environment.

5. Team Management:
○ Supervise market staff and volunteers, providing training and guidance.
○ Foster a positive and productive team environment.
○ Schedule staff shifts and manage workload distribution.

Compensation:
● Part-time position, $20,000 per year.
● Mileage reimbursement
● 16-20 hours per week.
● Health care benefits optional after 6 months of employment.

Working Conditions:
● This position requires working on market days, which includes weekends and some holidays.
● Physical activities such as lifting and setting up equipment are required.
● Some administrative work can be performed remotely or in an office setting.
● Drivers license and use of reliable vehicle during work hours.
