We opened Red Dog Market as an extension of our own produce farm, Kneehigh Farm. In 2021, we decided to expand our farm production and open a year-round, seasonal market to support our farm partners, our family, and feed our community.

Job description

NOW HIRING: FRONT END CASHIER
Responsibilities include:

-Operate Point of Sale (POS) system; Assume all cashier responsibilities
-Stock and process product for sale
-Record daily notes about customer inquiries, special orders, inventory, etc.
-Contact lead buyer when inventory reaches critical level on particular items or categories
-Friendly and approachable customer service
-Knowledge of food/cooking and farming
-Interest and ability to discuss products with customers
-Be a positive representation of our farm and small family business
-Help with store close, including moving vegetable crates and basic cleaning duties.

SCHEDULE:
Position begins April 30, 2025

Closing & Opening Shifts available, Wednesday-Saturday

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate has cashier experience in a retail environment, and excellent customer service skills.

COMPENSATION:
$15/hour. 10% discount on all store items.
