We offer distribution, freight, and warehousing services to farmers and producers throughout our region. We source from within the Northeast as a rule, and the majority of our sources are certified organic. We carry fresh produce, fresh fruit, eggs, meat, cheese, grains, flowers, and grocery products. Our customers are predominantly independent retail stores and restaurants in New York City, the Greater Boston Area, the Cape, and the Hudson Valley.
Job description
Myers Produce is seeking a full-time Executive Assistant to join our Core Management Team. This is a unique, grant-funded one-year position, ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience across multiple facets of a growing food distribution business. The Executive Assistant will work closely with the Owner, Business Development Director, and Operations Director, and will play a key role in supporting both strategic projects and day-to-day initiatives. We’re looking for a motivated, resourceful individual who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This is a remote position with a few required in-person events in Hatfield, MA.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop, implement, and troubleshoot new functionalities in our customized Airtable software, alongside the Core Team and a small team of independent software developers
- Maintain clear instructions for the team regarding everyday use of our customized Airtable software
- Troubleshoot issues with existing functionalities in our customized Airtable software
- Assist the three members of the Core Team with a variety of additional projects including grant writing; coverage for managers in the Sales, Purchasing, and Freight departments; marketing and social media projects, event planning and preparation; and data analysis.
The ideal candidate:
- Has at least two years of experience working in tech
- Has at least two years of experience working in foodservice, farming, food retail, or distribution
- Has experience with Airtable, QuickBooks Online, Slack, and Google Suite applications

Commitment:

Compensation
this position is: salaried, varies DOE, $60,000.00 - $75,000.00
